Sustainable brands are going quiet. They’re going out of business, losing funding, or glossing over their values because they think people don’t care. I have the privilege of straddling both worlds and I know that people care. But I also know we’re at a place of information overload. 

One political party is loudly pushing the idea sustainability is fAkE, the other is climate-hushing, the noise in between is deafening and big brands dominate every conversation that should belong to the people actually doing the work. The park rangers, the small business owners, the city workers trying to move the needle from inside. 

This podcast exists to fix that. Because you’ve probably had an hour of spare time and decided to try to find a podcast about sustainability. Only to find that it doesn't really exist. Everything you found focused on a topic incredibly specific while requiring a masters degree understanding of environmental science. Your eyes crossed and your brain shut down before you made it 10 minutes in.

Each episode, Lauren sits down with small sustainable brands, local organizers, and everyday people. Real conversations with real people. Specifically, the people trying their best to leave things better than they found them.
